Desired Name: Lily Evans
Nicknames: Lils
Age: 17
Year: 7th
House: Gryffindor
Appearance:
Lily has long, dark red hair and pretty, soft features. Her brilliant green eyes can be a bit captivating and she has a soft voice that can be very stern when she wants it to. She isn’t very tall but isn’t short either and her pale skin will often have a tan glow to it after a summer spent outside (as she spends most of her summers.
She will most often be seen in muggle clothing or her school uniform and almost always leaves her long hair cascading down in soft waves, a smile aptly placed on her face even when she’s sad. It’s only when she’s being stern that she looses the smile.

Personality:
Lily is a sweet girl but she can have a fiery temper. She strongly disapproves of the mistreatment of others and isn’t afraid to show it. Brilliant by nature, she is a model student and will often be seen reading (for school or just for leisure). Always helpful and one to follow the rules, Lily was a perfect candidate for prefect in her fifth year and, later, Head Girl in her seventh.
On the other hand, she tends to judge people too quickly on first impressions and doesn’t forgive easily. She will peg someone as a troublemaker and move on without considering how people may change or even that that isn’t such a bad quality…
The thing she hates most in her life is that she can’t have a close relationship with her sister anymore. While she never speaks of it at school or even just at home, it hurts her deeply, the things Petunia says about her. She would do anything to have her sister back but she’s afraid she’s lost her forever.

Lily maintained her composure until she made it all the way outside. From there, she ran towards the Quidditch Pitch. She could see the clouds coming in and knew that there was no one daft enough to fly on a day like this. It would be a storm soon and then there’d be no more sounds outside save for the falling of the rain. It would be dark in only moments
She sat herself up in the stands and leaned forward, covering her face with her hands and propping herself up on her elbows. How could she not notice that she was hurting James so? He had never really said anything to her about it until Halloween and she had just figured that she was just another girl. That anything she said would go in one ear and right out the other.
She sighed dejectedly as the rain came down a bit harder than she expected… and she still in her uniform. She turned her face to the sky, deciding not to worry about the rain or James or even the chill that made its way to her bones with every ice cold drop. None of it mattered right now. Right now, she would find her center and forget silly boys with their silly problems.
She closed her eyes and stood with outstretched arms, welcoming the sounds of nature into her peaceful state of mind. Somewhere behind her lay her forgotten robe, gathering excess rain in a heap on the bench for, as it took in far more water than the rest of her clothing, it was getting to heavy to wear.
This reminded her that she would have to go inside eventually… button up shirts and cotton skirts could only do so much before she would become completely frozen but a big part of her didn’t care. A big part of her wanted to just run into the forest until she could run any further.
But then there was that little voice that told her that she didn’t want to be alone anymore. That she wanted to feel close to someone… at home. That little part of her wanted something she had never gotten from Hogwarts and would never get from a book.
This wasn’t just about James… this was her realizing that what he wanted… what he always tried so hard to show that he was capable of… was no different from what she really wanted deep down inside whether she wanted to admit it or not. He wasn’t the extraordinary and popular James Potter… he was just James. Just another person who could be hurt just as easily as the next… just as easily as she.
She sighed again, regaining her center, and dropped her arms to her sides, turning her face upwards again with closed eyes. ‘Let me get sick,’ she thought, ‘Just let me stand out here until the rain takes it all away…’
